Federal Marijuana Investigation of Mendocino County sheriff Captain

In the October 15th Press Democrat, Glenda Anderson reports on a federal marijuana investigation of Mendocino County Sheriff Captain Randy Johnson.  According to Ms. Anderson’s article,  a search warrant was served on a property near Potter Valley, CA owned by the father of Mendocino County Sheriff’s Capt. Randy Johnson.  Approximately 500 marijuana plants were discovered as a result of that search.

John Johnson, brother of Capt. Randy Johnson also lives at the property owned by his father.  Capt. Johnson owns and lives on a property adjacent to that of his father.

The article goes on to quote Mendocino County Sheriff Tom Allman as saying “It would be a concern if any of my employees knew about that many plants” and didn’t report them.

The agencies involved in this investigation into this grow is being conducted by the federal Drug Enforcement Administration, FBI and IRS
